xSynthetic Ice™ xGlide15 offers superior glide properties and durability with glide enhancer infused throughout the entire thickness of the material. The raw material resin is mixed with silicone glide plus dry slip additives during the manufacturing process, resulting in the longest glide and highest overall performing surface we've tested on the market to date. These innovations translate into a glide that is 20-30% faster than other well-known brands for the entire life of the panel and you don't have to deal with adding liquid glide. xSynthetic Ice has been designed with a very high molecular weight to ensure that skaters are able to edge on the product without ripping a massive gouge into it (or just slide across it). Synthetic Ice must feel realistic in order to provide a skater with the confidence to perform maneuvers they would while on an actual ice rink.
xSynthetic Ice is a Sinter Pressed material which requires less cleanup and a greater overall skating experience compared to the typical competitors extruded sheet material. Machined to exacting standards using computer controlled (CNC) machines provides you with a precise joints, ultimate stability, safety, and the highest level of product satisfaction. Our superior grade resin (raw material) ensures a consistent synthetic ice sheet each and every time it is manufactured, no matter when the product was produced. FYI, many sellers of synthetic ice have absolutely no idea where their raw materials come from. Some producers simply switch from one resin supplier to the next looking for the cheapest price. This can result in mixed resin batches that may produce inconsistent materials with various negative consequences over the short and long term of a product lifespan.
xSynthetic Ice is designed to maintain its' superior glide properties due to the incorporation of infused-throughout silicone glide plus dry slip additives, so it is built to perform during the entire life of the product.
There is only ONE true synthetic ice skating efficiency test that ensures you are buying a high quality synthetic product. Most companies will cite the Coefficient of Friction (COF) tests to compare their product with refrigerated ice. This is not only a poor comparison – but it is also misleading as COF tests are not done using a weighted skate blade – so why reference them? Many sellers of synthetic ice don’t understand this and it is confusing to consumers.
xSynthetic ice tests product utilizing actual ice skates. This testing method demonstrated an average of 30-40% less resistance than any other competitor's product tested. This provides you with an experience that requires less skating effort. Manufacturing DIN ISO 9001 standards, ensure excellence in raw materials composition and the ultimate in consistency between each panel produced.
All of this directly translates into a superior synthetic ice skating performance, along with a more enjoyable and consistent skating experience.

We recommend using cold water and scrubbing with a stiff brush (to scrub out embedded dirt and debris). DO NOT use HOT water, especially under high pressure for all glide-infused xGlide products. If you need to use a pressure washer, DO NOT allow the spray nozzle to be closer than 12” from the surface or on the high-pressure setting and ONLY use COLD water.
