The Shot Tec Training Device isolates and trains the exact muscle groups required for the perfect wrist shot and can be used in comfort of your living room.
The ShotTec Training Device incorporates an official size puck on an adjustable resistor. Players are able to find success in a short amount of time by improving strength in the core, forearms, shoulders, and helping develop muscle memory that perfects a quick shot release. All units have the option to plug the unit into the wall and enjoy resistance at all times or there is also a 9 volt battery back up. This gives players the option to bring their Shot Tec on the road and will allow the resistance settings to not be interrupted by power as they are all manual mechanical settings.
"The best part of this tool is that you can use it in the convenience of your own home schedule. I highly recommend Shot Tec for anyone like myself who knows they want results and need the extra push to be the best they can be in their field."
- Martin Gelinas, 19 years in the NHL including 1250 regular season games
"The game of hockey is very complex when it comes to training. Your goal is to isolate muscle groups using resistance for the small muscles. I'm convinced when you use a lot of force, your technique will be lost. At NSD we like to be cutting edge with training and the devices we use. We have professional players training at NSD that use the Shot Tec device and find success with it in a short amount of time, improving strength in the core, forearms, shoulders, and helping develop muscle memory that perfects their quick release. Shot Tec is the best I've seen to isolate the small muscle groups for the perfect wrist shot." - Rick Alexander, Director of Hockey for National Sports Development
"I am so excited after all these years to see the development of the Shot Tec training system. To score big goals and make accurate passes, players need the specific training that Shot Tec provides. Shot Tec device develops not only the specific technique and strength for shooting, but makes training quick, fun and exciting for all players using it."

The ShotTec is designed to make sure you, as a player, are constantly pushing and pulling with constant tension. Once the unit is set up and you have picked your starting tension, stand in a shooting stance and allow the puck to stay on the heel and roll to the toe. You want to be sure that your hands are away from your body with the puck on the heel of your stick. Use your core muscles to roll the puck to the toe and practice quick releases and quick repetitions. Be sure to use different angles while on the Shot Tec such as facing forward, sideways, or on your backhand. Be sure to use proper technique as you would when you are shooting a puck during a game.
