To prevent fewer stoppages of playing during games. Anchorpegs Game Ready Professional Regulation Goal Frame Anchors are currently being used by minor/junior and pro leagues across North America. Anchorpegs are the official peg of the NAHL.
USAGE
- Unscrew the Quick Tips and reverse them so the points are exposed. Then adjust them to your chosen height.
- At the base of the Anchorpeg there are 2-3/8'' threaded self-tapping "Quik Tips" that drill a hole into the ice at a depth of 1/4'' to 3/4''.
- Once the Anchorpegs "Quik Tips" are in the ice, the thread fuses to the ice much like when you stick you tongue on a steel pipe on a cold winters day.
- The "Quik Tip" freezing makes the Anchorpegs solid and secure giving goalies confidence in a"No Net Movement" practice.
- DO NOT PUT PEGS INSIDE POST AND DROP ONTO ICE, SPIKES WILL NOT ENGAGE ALL THE WAY INTO ICE (this is the old-school way of engaging shallow single pegs). Each Peg needs to be spiked into the ice by hand and allowed to set. Ensure the peg base is flush priot to setting the goal on the peg.
