Interactive Training Systems Guide: Building a Hockey Training Facility in Canada

The XHP Interactive Training line is a family of sensor-based stations that measure shooting, passing, stickhandling and skating, and show the athlete a score or a time on a digital display the moment the rep ends. Facilities combine stations to build a measurable training circuit, and several models also fit high-end home setups. This guide summarizes what each station trains, what is included, and what to know before you buy. Every Interactive Training system on xHockeyProducts.ca is quoted rather than sold from the shelf, so the tables below describe the stations and pricing comes back with your quote.

  • Everything is quoted. Interactive Training systems are built to order, so there is no shelf price. Use the Get an Official Quote button on any product page and we will price your configuration, including freight to your Canadian address.
  • What a quote does not include. System pricing is separate from shipping, installation, applicable taxes and customs charges, all of which are quoted or billed separately.
  • Technology License Agreement. Interactive Training systems include proprietary sensor and display technology and require a Technology License Agreement. The online scoring system carries a license fee billed separately.
  • Final sale. These are commercial systems built to order and are final sale.
  • Facility planning. Stations are commonly combined into circuits. Tell us the space you are working with in the quote comments and our team of former pros will help you lay out the right combination.

Frequently asked questions

What does an interactive hockey training facility cost?

It depends entirely on which stations you combine, the room you are fitting them into, and freight to your location. A single timed stickhandling or slide-board station sits at the entry point of the range and the xRamp skating ramp sits at the top of it. Every quote is prepared by hand and comes back within 48 hours, so send us the station list and we will price it properly.

Do these systems work for home training spaces?

The Dangle Zone Lite, Heads Up Hands and Super Slide Board are the most common home and garage picks. The larger stations are designed for commercial facilities and arenas.

Are the targets and timers built in?

Yes. Every station includes its sensors and a digital display, so athletes see a score or time immediately without a coach keeping stats.

Can non-hockey facilities use them?

Several stations adapt to other sports, for example the Radar Zone is available with lacrosse and other goal sizes. Ask when requesting your quote.
